Just thought I'd share with my fellow "woodaholics" my recent find. Last week I picked up about 40 blocks of 30 year old Honduras mahogany from my old woodworker friend.

I found these blocks stashed in the back of one of his barns. Most of the blocks were 16" wide by 16" tall by 25" long. I moved them all by myself and yes, managed to pull every muscle in my back. But it was worth the pain :) This is some incredible looking wood and I've already cut quite a few guitar sets and neck blanks. As I was moving this blocks, my old woodworker friend told me the original pieces were 20 feet long!
